The conference aims to bring together experts, thought leaders, and policymakers to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and unlocking the opportunities in the data sub-sector for good governance & economic transformation in line with the recent pronouncement by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, “expressing concern that the absence of comprehensive data and technological applications hinders Nigeria’s economic growth and efficient policymaking”.

The first edition of Nigeria Data Expo & Conference held between 5th -7th October 2021 was organized by IOSAFE NIGERIA in partnership with Federal Ministry of Communications & Digital Economy, National Information & Technology Agency (NITDA), Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), and Galaxy Backbone.

While, we are currently collaborating with Nigeria Data Protection Commission NDPC the agency with statutory mandate on data management to organize this second edition of the data conference.

However, the 2nd Nigeria Data Expo & Conference 2024, will serve as a convergence of experts, leaders and industry players to deliberate, x-ray problems, and proffer solutions that will help to tap from huge opportunities that Data can offer in the transformation of Nigeria economy as Data is now considered globally as the New Oil.

The Conference will provide an in-depth insight on data governance, applications, innovation and the unlocking of the opportunities that would add value and enhance service delivery in all organization and among both users of Big and Small Data in Nigeria.

We anticipate that participation of stakeholders will inspire our audience and foster collaboration among industry players to share experience, best practices and set the tone for an intellectually stimulating Conference.
